Footprints on the Sky: Voices from Chandler Mountain
Thursday, August 2, at 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Large Auditorium
Join us as renown storyteller, Dolores Hydock, reminisces about Alabama’s Chandler Mountain community in this Alabama Bicentennial presentation. Dolores brings the spirit and voices of the mountain to life in this funny and tender story of strong women and Southern hospitality. In a blend of Alabama history, folklore and storytelling, Dolores creates a portrait of a moment when folk traditions are forced to blend with modern ways. This presentation is free to the public.
