About Town is using our expertise to create an event for our exclusive audience! After numerous requests from our readers and advertisers, About Town decided to host a party bringing them together at an event!

We’re announcing About Town’s Pre-Sloss Fest Party benefiting the American Cancer Society and the Ronald McDonald House and presented by ALFA Insurance!

This party will be exclusive, but more importantly fun. Three local Sloss Fest bands will be performing live at the event at The Hangar in Avondale. The bands are Taylor Hunnicutt, Lady Legs and Love Moor. There will be a full bar and we are excited to introduce local brewery, Back Forty Beer Company’s limited run micro-brew (available for this event and Sloss Festival weekend only).

The crowd will be comprised of our core audience, which is led by 25 advisory board members. Each member was hand-selected to represent Birmingham’s most civically involved, social and upwardly mobile people. Guests will also include sponsors and members of the American Cancer Society and Ronald McDonald House Junior Boards.
