Dewey Frye is dead and the rest of his family is left to pick up the pieces – that is if they don’t kill each other first.

A dramedy written by the team of Dietz Osborne and Nate Eppler, and directed by Chris Cash, the play’s action takes place over several days during the funeral of Dewey Frye, who dropped dead in the middle of a joke at his Rotarian dinner meeting. Not only does matriarch Dorothy (Charline Harbison) have to contend with embracing the reality and grief of sudden widowhood, but she’s faced with the nuisance of church-committee harpy Ozella Meeks (Emily Taylor) sticking her nose in the family business and trying to take over the funeral arrangements.
