The 2018-2019 Cathedral Concert Series presents Michael Unger, organ, in concert on the 100-rank Grieb-Williams Organ. Originally from Toronto, Canada, multiple award-winning organist and harpsichordist Michael Unger serves as Assistant Professor of Keyboard at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in Ohio. He frequently appears as a soloist and chamber musician in North America, Europe, and Japan. Having been a First Prize winner of the International Organ Competition Musashino-Tokyo as well as a First Prize and Audience Prize winner of the National Young Artists’ Competition of the American Guild of Organists (NYACOP), Dr. Unger is a seasoned performer of the highest caliber.
