Montevallo is often recognized for the carvings of Tim Tingle in Orr Park. Each year thousands of visitors come to Orr Park to enjoy these tree carvings. Join us for the inaugural Tinglewood Festival!

The day begins with the 17th Annual Cars By The Creek car show, vendors, food, and a fantastic kids\\\’ area! A selection of artists from across the Southeast will showcase a variety of wood-related works available for sale. Tim Tingle will host a whittling competition in the afternoon.

Our chainsaw carving exhibition begins at 10 a.m., and will include a panel of well-known artists: Corey Lancaster of Princeton, North Carolina; Heather Bailey of Calera, Alabama; Justin Bailey of Calera, Alabama; Dayton Scoggins of Heidelberg, Mississippi; and Brandon Adams of Mount Vernon, Missouri. After you watch the carvings being made, join us as we auction off the pieces to benefit various community groups and charities!

Winston Ramble (Birmingham) kicks off the night of music, followed by Rollin in the Hay (Birmingham). Dance the night away with our amazing headliner, Mingo Fishtrap (Austin, TX)!

This festival is being organized as a signature event for the City of Montevallo by the Montevallo Chamber of Commerce, Montevallo Main Street, and the Montevallo Arts Council.
