Samford will begin its pre-conference schedule by hosting the Courtyard by Marriot Samford Invitational, Aug. 24-25. In the season-opening tournament, Samford will take on McNeese State (Aug. 24 at 12 p.m.), Loyola (Aug. 24 at 7 p.m.) and Kennesaw State (Aug. 25 at 3 p.m.).
