Who doesn’t love a good 1980s Christmas Special. Fake snow? Dancing gingerbread men? Perry Como singing “Do You Hear What I Hear?” with Scott Baio and R2D2? Well, the Extemporaneous Theatre Company (ETC) is bringing back this cheesy tradition of goofy sketches, holiday songs, and other oddball surprises at their non-denominational, legally-binding, all-inclusive holiday variety show — aptly named Holiday ‘Splosion.

The show, which skewers the vintage holiday variety show, comes to the Historic Virginia Samford Theatre a for a special two-night engagement on December 11 and 12.

Tickets for Holiday Splosion are $15 and can be purchased online atextemporaneoustheatre.com or at the door. Showtime is 8 pm.
