Join us for a 22k hike across Birmingham to raise aware of the epidemic of veteran suicide. The hike will start at 8:00am. You must provide your own pack, and the pack must weigh at least 22 pounds (symbolizing the 22 veterans that commit suicide every day). After the hike, we will have a benefit concert, featuring the Elijah Butler Band. The band will start playing at 7:00pm. Door cover is $20. This event is sponsored by Kelly Ingram VFW and Alabama Veteran. Proceeds will benefit these fine local veterans organizations and the national group known as CreatiVets.
