The concepts covered will be applicable to multiple techniques and styles. John will offer one-on-one direction and feedback on your self-directed projects. You may bring phot references, set up still lifes, or use other reference material. Your paintings may include landscapes, portraiture, still lives, or illustrations in a variety of styles. This class is open to intermediate and advanced painters working in oils or acrylics.

John Lytle Wilson is a Birmingham based artist known for his brightly colored acrylics of monkeys, robots, and unicorns. He has fifteen years experience teaching oil painting, drawing, and design at Florida State University, UAB, and Birmingham-Southern.
