The jazz ensembles from UAB and Jacksonville State University will perform a joint concert. A tornado hit JSU?s campus March 19, causing $40 million in damage to the campus, with major damage to music facilities at the university and leaving the jazz ensemble musicians without their normal performance venue. The JSU jazz ensembles are led by Andy Nevala, and UAB?s jazz ensembles are led by Steve Roberts.
