Presented by Workshops, Inc. and Protective Life at Alys Robinson Stephens Performing Arts Center

On Sunday evening, January 6, Workshops, Inc. will welcome comedian and Birmingham native Roy Wood, Jr. to Comedy for a Cause 2019, presented by Protective Life, at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center.

In addition to his work as a Correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, hosting This is Not Happening on Comedy Central and his appearances in comedy clubs, Roy has been profiled in the New York Times, and even wrote a Travel piece for the Times about his home state. Birmingham fans also know him from The Rickey Smiley Morning Show on WBHJ957JAMZ.

A few VIP passes will be available for $150. They include a reserved seat and a meet and greet with Roy after the show. Also includes pre- and post- show access to the Abroms Patrons Lounge at the Alys Stephens Center which will have hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar with one complimentary drink.
