Assistance League of Birmingham will present Sunset and Song on Thursday, March 17. This annual fundraising event will support Alabama seniors and the youth of our community through the philanthropic programs of Assistance League of Birmingham: PrimeTime Treasures, Operation School Bell and Operation Literacy Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served on the lovely rooftop garden and lounge in the historic Kress Building provided by Bob Childs of the law firm of Wiggins, Childs, Pantazis, Fisher and Goldfarb. Guests may place bids on many unique silent and live auction items. The final event of the evening will be a fast-paced musical performance, Four for Time with Lonnie Parsons, Kristi Tingle Higginbothom, Jan Hunter and Carl Dean.
