Gallery Bar, English Village’s new cocktail and oyster bar, will hold its Grand Opening event on Thursday, Jan. 21 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Located at 1930 Cahaba Road, the event is open to the public and will feature complementary appetizers and cocktails, while benefitting Firehouse Shelter.  

Owned by Vino, Gallery Bar opened to the public in October and is utilizing its Grand Opening event to showcase its offerings to Birmingham-area patrons while giving back to a worthy cause. Attendees of the Grand Opening will enjoy complimentary oysters and appetizers, and Gallery Bar’s creative cocktail options will be available for purchase in addition to champagnes, beer and wine. Most recently, Gallery Bar was named one of BirminghamRestaurants.com’s All Time Favorites, as well as Best New Classic Cocktail Bar of 2015. The site also recognized its Fried Crab Claw appetizer and The Regan Years cocktail as a 50 Favorite winner in the Appetizers and Cocktails category for 2015-2016.
