Be the first to watch the sun rise on the first day of 2019!! Considered one of the most scenic places in Birmingham! Join OMSP’s Naturalist on this awesome hike! We will meet at 5:00am on Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 at the North Trail Head! After a quick introduction we will head up the mountain at 5:20am.This will give everyone time to arrive and prepare before we begin. Sunrise is expected around 6:50am! THE FIRST PART OF THIS HIKE IS IN THE DARK! PLEASE BRING A HEADLAMP OR FLASHLIGHT! Allow 3 hours for this event!
