Operation HOPE’s Homeownership Program is designed to give those dreaming of a new home the keys to make their wish come true. The program features home buyer education workshops and one-one counseling. It all starts with a simple orientation. The first course, an Orientation, is recommended for those first-time shoppers, who are warming up to the possibility. The second course is a Workshop, reserved for the more serious shopper. The sessions give participants a real look at the home-buying process. In one-on-one counseling sessions with their certified homeownership counselor, participants learn how to improve their financial profile by improving their credit, savings, and debt-to-income ratio, and more.
