Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham at a fun night of bowling.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham is a mentoring organization that provides mentors to youth in our community. In 2018, over 1,200 youth had a mentor because of community support. The cost to recruit, screen, train, and supervise each match is an average of $1,000 a year and Big Brothers Big Sisters depends on community support to continue to provide more youth with a Big Brother or Big Sister.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is your opportunity to come together in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters and the youth served each year. This year, bowlers are dressing up as superheroes. Our Bigs defend and empower the potential of the Littles in our program and we want to celebrate that. We are ready to come together with all of our superheroes and have a successful year supporting the true voices of potential – the Littles!
Start a Team
Find a group of 4 to 6 of your friends, family members or coworkers who would like to join you in collecting donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Pick a day and time for your team’s bowling party. Register your team on our event website.
Fundraise for BBBS
Collect donations for BBBS on your personal or team’s fundraising pages. Host a bake sale at your office. Ask your friends and family to give $20 to BBBS.
Hit Your Fundraising Goal
We ask that each team try to raise $900 in donations for the agency. Many teams go above and beyond – and earn some pretty great prizes for doing so!
Celebrate at a Bowling Party
Come to your scheduled bowling party and have an amazing time! You and your team members will receive 2 hours of free bowling with shoe rentals, T-shirts, prizes and more.
