Enjoy a vibrant, colorful, celebration of Caribbean culture in the City of Bessemer hosted by Central Alabama Caribbean American Organization (CACAO). Over the last 8 years, CACAO has hosted this family friendly event which draws visitors from all over the state and as far away as Atlanta and Tennessee.
Starting at 11:00am and ending at 8:00pm the festival promises non-stop entertainment featuring steel band music, Reggae and Soca artists, line dancers and even hula hoop for the young and young at heart so come show off your dancing skills, you just might win a prize.
In addition to the entertainment, arguably the biggest draw for the festival is the food that fills the air with delicious island aroma. Bring your chair, bring your family and come prepared to enjoy a bit of the tropics in Bessemer.
