ArtBreak: Plants as Art: A Look at Plant Species in Works of Art

ArtBreak: Plants as Art: A Look at Plant Species in Works of Art

Presented by Birmingham Museum of Art at Birmingham Museum of Art

On the third Tuesday of each month, Museum curators lead visitors on a 30 minute exploration in the galleries. Join us this month for a talk with special guests John Manion, the Kaul Wildflower Garden Curator at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and local artist Enid Keyser. Taking us on a garden walk through the galleries they will discuss the different ways artists used plants both aesthetically and symbolically in their work.
