Teens Engineer BHM / STEM-L

Presented by Birmingham Public Library at Birmingham Public Library - Central Branch

Do you love technology? Want to know how to program a robot? Do you like to take things apart to see what makes them tick? Join us after school each Tuesday through the spring to work with UAB’s School of Engineering to start computer coding, work with Arduinos (micro-computers), program robots, and much more. This program is supported by a grant from the Best Buy Foundation & the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), a federal agency, through the Library Service and Technology Act, as administered by the Alabama Public Library Service. The program is held in the Youth Department Story Castle. Target audience: teens.
