International Slow Art Day

International Slow Art Day

Presented by Birmingham Museum of Art at Birmingham Museum of Art

If you’re a fan of our long-running program Slow Art Sunday, this event is for you. Slow Art Day began in 2009 with volunteers hosting events at 16 museums and galleries in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The BMA joined early, with volunteer-run Slow Art Days starting in 2010. So far this year, 158 museums and galleries from around the world are participating in Slow Art. Come see how fast you can fall in love with slow art!

SCHEDULE
12:45-1:00 pm: Get the scoop on Slow Art Day by picking up a stool and Slow Art packet (with the day’s itinerary and slow looking tips) at either Museum entrance.
