The BAMA Players will perform a concert of newly-composed chamber music – featuring flute, clarinet, oboe, piano, and string quartet.
The BAMA Players, resident ensemble of the Birmingham Art Music Alliance, will perform a concert of newly-composed chamber music. Most works on the program are world premieres, with some written specifically for the performers and/or this concert. Music by New York composer Catherine Neville is presented as part of an exchange program between BAMA and the New York Composers Circle. The remaining pieces are all by Alabama composers.
