Brought to the international stage by the S-Town Podcast, Woodstock, Alabama is hosting the 2nd Annual Wildflower Walk to Prevent Suicide & Bullying in conjunction with Alabama Suicide Prevention and Resources Coalition.
In conjunction with the Alabama Suicide Prevention and Resources Coalition, Woodstock, Alabama, announces an April 14 date for the second annual Wildflower Walk to Prevent Suicide and Bullying. The theme of this year’s 2:00 PM event is, “Boots Against Bullying,” and will feature children’s author JacQuan Winters and noted anti-bullying speaker, Angela Lockett. Along with ASPARC, the event is co-hosted by Woodstock First Lady and suicide awareness advocate, Cheryl Dodson, who was featured in the S-Town Podcast.
After an informational meeting, attendees will plant wildflowers in memory and honor of those lost to suicide. (All are welcome.)
