2019 First Light Gala--Let's Be the Light!

Presented by First Light Homeless Shelter for Women and Children at Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum

The 2019 First Light Gala will be Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum and proceeds will benefit First Light’s emergency shelter and supportive housing programs for homeless women and families. The theme is Let’s Be the Light to celebrate the way the community makes First Light shine.  Janet Hall of WBRC Fox 6 News will emcee and Kent Stanford will be the auctioneer. There will be great food, live music and many entertaining ways to have fun while supporting First Light’s mission.

First Light’s mission is to work with homeless women and their children to create hospitality in a safe and nurturing community, to encourage them to maintain dignity, to find hope, to seek opportunity, and to grow spiritually, thereby achieving their full potential.

Individual tickets are $150 or $100 for young adults under age 30–but consider reserving a table for $1,500 so you know you can sit with your friends.
