Springville Community Theatre will be holding auditions and crew sign-up for anyone who would like to participate including actors, builders, artists, seamstresses and more.
Now in its 43rd year, the Springville Community Theatre will be bringing Peter Pan to the stage in July. Open to anyone who would like to participate, there is plenty to do onstage or backstage: build sets, paint backdrops, gather props, sew costumes, run lights and sound, work in the box office, send out publicity, as well as fill the stage. No experience is necessary. (Actors must be at least 7 years of age.)
Auditions and Crew Sign-up will be held at the Springville Middle School on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 at 2:00 PM. (It is not necessary to come to both auditions.) Show dates are set for Thursday through Sunday, July 25-28.

Auditions for PETER PAN will be held SATURDAY, MAY 18th and SUNDAY, MAY 19th at 2:00 pm at the Springville Middle School, 6691 Main St. (U. S. Hwy 11), Springville, Alabama 35146. Ages seven and up are invited to audition. It is not necessary to prepare a monologue or song. Audition materials will be provided.
Everyone who auditions will be cast, and your rehearsal schedule will depend on your role. At auditions you’ll be asked for all of your scheduling conflicts for the months of June and July. Rehearsals take place evenings and weekends beginning one week after auditions. We try to create the rehearsal schedule around actor conflicts, but if you’ll be gone more than a week this summer, it may not be possible for you to do the show.
