Opera Birmingham and Chandler and Jane Paris Smith, gala sponsors, invite you to celebrate 61 years of Grand Opera in Birmingham at the Opera Birmingham Gala! Beginning at 6:00 p.m., guests will mix, mingle and dine with famed modern-day composer, Ricky Ian Gordon, composer of Orpheus & Euridice and Green Sneakers, who will present a cabaret-style performance of musical selections as part of the evening’s special entertainment. The evening begins with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction, followed at 7:15 p.m. by a seated dinner prepared by Corretti Catering, and a live auction with Dr. Andrew S.
