Come to Railroad Park for financial advice you can take to the bank. Join us every Tuesday in June on Railroad Park’s 17th Street Pavilion from 5:30–6:30pm for a series of financial sessions designed to help young professionals and entrepreneurs set financial goals. The series is FREE and open to the public, though advance registration is requested via Eventbrite. Light refreshments will be provided, and additional food & beverages will be available for purchase for event participants.

TUESDAY, JUNE 4 ‐ IDENTITY THEFT & FRAUD (PERSONAL FINANCE)

From buying a car to applying for a job, you’ve likely needed some form of ID to prove your identity. In fact, your identity is one of the most valuable assets you have. This workshop is designed to help you learn what all is at risk and how to safeguard your identity.

TUESDAY, JUNE 11 ‐ CONSIDERING HOME OWNERSHIP (HOMEOWNERSHIP PART 1)

This workshop is designed to help you become more familiar with the process of buying and owning a home. You will learn about the loan application process, understanding the terms of a loan, reviewing the costs associated with home ownership, and how to best build your personal and financial readiness for home ownership.

TUESDAY, JUNE 18 ‐ UNDERSTANDING MORTGAGES (HOMEOWNERSHIP PT. 2)

In this workshop, participants will gain a better understanding of the different types of mortgages, common costs associated with buying a home, financing options, and how to get started with the application process. Buying and owning a home is a dream for many people. This workshop can help you turn that dream into a reality.

TUESDAY, JUNE 25 ‐ DEVELOPING A BUSINESS PLAN (SMALL BUSINESS)

A business plan is the one piece of information that potential lenders, business incubators, investors, and economic development organizations will want before deciding to loan money or invest. This workshop will identify the importance of developing a strong business plan, explore ways to use a business plan, and review the key parts of a business plan.
