We’re back! Our first dance walk of 2016 will be 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 20th in the Parkside District. We are SO excited to have Zyp BikeShare – Birmingham and SOL Dance Experience – Dancing in the Dark our presenting sponsors – two HUGE names in fitness and fun! We’ll have more special announcements about and from our sponsors as get closer to the event.

Meet at the Zyp Bike station on the corner of 1st Avenue South and 14th Street South (at the far end of Railroad Park) and SPREAD THE WORD! The more, the merrier when it comes to dance walking.

Dance walking is a fun, free fitness craze sweeping the globe. We are dancing and walking our way through Birmingham on a quest for fun, people, music, and FITNESS! Everyone is welcome and all ages are encouraged to join in on the fun! We provide some music via jamboxes and megaphones throughout the dance walk line, but feel free to bring your own or jam out with some ear buds. Who cares as long as you’re moving! 

Dance walks last about 30 minutes at the most, but are usually shorter since they’re a GREAT workout! 🙂
