It’s that time of year, again….In an effort to highlight the need for regular health screenings among Birmingham’s youth population, the Mayor’s Office Division of Youth Services is preparing for this year’s installment of Take a Child to the Doctor Day, which will be held at the Bill Harris Arena at the Birmingham Crossplex on Saturday, September 14th from 10 am until 2 pm. City of Birmingham residents up to age 18 will have access to FREE health screenings and physician referrals. Youth and their families will also receive education on developing and maintaining healthy lifestyles. This event promises to be fun for all that attend—youth and parents alike.
