The UAB Department of Music continues its collaboration with AEIVA with a program curated by Laura Usiskin as part of the Alys Stephens Center’s “EMERGE” festival in collaboration with the Birmingham Art Music Alliance.

“Chamber Music @ AEIVA: Emerge” will include new compositions related to the three exhibitions: “Quentin Morris,” Christina West’s “Unscene” and Mary Frances Whitfield’s “Why?”
EMERGE FEST is presented by UAB’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center and its partner institution across 10th Avenue, UAB’s Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts. The two-day festival at UAB will host visual and performing artists in every venue available, Sept. 13-14.
