The Luxe Mode Celebrates Their 2nd Anniversary
With A Heels to Heal Charity Event
Birmingham, Alabama: The Luxe Mode is an online fashion boutique based in Birmingham, Alabama. The company is a complete fashion retail site with the sale of clothing, heels and accessories. The Luxe Mode is celebrating their second anniversary by once again hosting their annual Heels to Heal Charity Event. Anyone who has a heart for women in need and is interested in making a positive impact is encouraged to attend this exciting event!
The Luxe Mode believes in active leadership by generously donating 5% of their annual income; accompanied by monetary gifts and gently worn clothing & shoe donated during this event. With the outpour of donations seen during last year’s event, The Luxe Mode made a donation of $700.00 and over 270 pairs of gently worn shoes to Jessie’s Place (a non-profit organization that provides healing, education and shelter for underprivileged, critically-ill and/or abused women). Attendees can expect a high-energy, fun filled, educational, inspiring and engaging event on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 1 – 4 p.m. at The Wine Loft in Downtown Birmingham, Alabama. Guests will have an option to partake in photos on the red carpet, a complimentary glass of the Event’s Signature drink and hors d’oeuvres. Witness the efforts taken to overcome domestic violence from Tahiera Monique Brown – a Domestic Violence Speaker, CEO, author & talk show host with an incredible story of overcoming a lifetime of abuse. Additional entertainment with live jazz and vocals by Nadia Tellis and Amp Noize as well as a live fashion show of this spring’s latest trends. Last but not least, guest attending this event will be able to take advantage of discounts to shop with The Luxe Mode by making either a financial donation or participating in the swapping of ladies gently worn clothing and shoes.
After losing two family members to domestic violence in 2001; Shani Smith was aware of the need to bring awareness to domestic violence. Since moving to Birmingham, Alabama and starting her business, she has focused on supporting non-profit agencies and shelters with a goal of impacting local women in need.
