Grace Home Foundation is a Birmingham-based nonprofit organization that supports Grace Home Orphanage and school in Kathmandu, Nepal. For one day only, Sitar Indian restaurant in Birmingham will donate 15 percent of all proceeds directly to GHF. The funds will be used to help with the operation of the orphanage and school, which provides education and housing for 12-15 children, 9-16 years of age. Grace Home was devastated by the 2015 earthquakes and is attempting to build a new facility. Your patronage of Sitar on Wednesday, March 16 will help us raise awareness about impoverished children in Nepal, and improve their lives through education, overall health and well-being in a home-like atmosphere.
