Craigger Browne (University of Montevallo BFA ’91) will discuss marble, his sculpting practice, and his recent public artworks, including Sylacauga Emerging, Sylacauga, Alabama; Madonna and Child, St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Birmingham, Alabama; Once Upon a Time, Sylacauga, Alabama; and The Warmth of Enlightenment, Ivy Green, Tuscumbia, Alabama. Craigger Browne is an Alabama native and currently the sculptor in residence in Sylacauga, Alabama.
