‘Thurgood’ is the remarkable and triumphant story of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, who changed the American Legal Landscape by setting the stage for Civil Rights Pioneers such as Fred Shuttlesworth, Rosa Parks, and Dr. Martin Luther King. Marshall was the first African-American to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court. And he made his name before that as the lawyer who, for decades, was the architect of the drive for racial equality under law. Thurgood argued and won the Brown versus Board of Education case ending legal segregation in public schools.
