On Saturday, April 16, Railroad Park celebrates the first crack of the bat of the 2016 with Barons Bash, presented by Vulcan Materials. With inflatables, lawn games, Barons mascot Babe Ruff, and good eats, Railroad Park’s community celebration will come to a close just before the Barons take to the field at 6:30 against the Tennessee Smokies. Barons Bash is free and open to the public, with some ticketed activities. Wristbands for ticketed activities will be available at the entrances. All proceeds benefit Railroad Park Foundation, which maintains and brings events to the park. New to the event this year is a Parent Lounge, where adults can enjoy some shaded seating and beverages while the children play. Doodles Italian Ice and Naughty But Nice Kettle Corn food carts will be selling delicious treats.  Visit railroadpark.org for more information.
