Guest chamber music concert, featuring full-time faculty of the University of Alabama: Carlton McCreery, cello, Jacob Adams, viola, and Edisher Savitski, piano. The program will feature two major instrumental sonatas by Shostakovich: the Cello Sonata in d minor, Op. 40, and the Sonata for Viola and Piano, Op. 147, the final work the great composer completed.
