The Birmingham Zoo and Alabama Audubon are teaming up for our annual Great Backyard Bird Count! We’re continuing our tradition that unites birdwatchers from across the area as they track bird species found in our own backyards, parks and local spaces. Seasonal bird counts have been a central part of Alabama Audubon’s work ever since its founding in 1946. If you’re new to birding, returning after an absence, or just interested in checking out the wintering and resident birds, we invite you to join us!
