Participants will recreate this impressionistic Fall city scape in Birmingham (2nd Ave North near The Collins bar). Amy will demonstrate key stages of the painting process, using a limited palette. Participants paint on a clear-gessoed linen surface and experience how to use the natural tone of the linen to their advantage for the painting. This workshop will most benefit artist seeking intentional, selective, and confident brush work with a focus on values.
