Corks & Chefs

Presented by Foundation for Art and Cultural Connections at Linn Park

An explosion of flavors!

The 19th annual Corks & Chefs is the place where art, food, beer, wine, and now spirits, meet.

This popular tasting event, held in conjunction with the 33rd Magic City Art Connection festival, is tented and teeming with patrons sampling delicious culinary creations from many of Birmingham’s favorite restaurants. 8-10 talented chefs, plus great wines, craft beers, coffee, and tea are showcased each day. Spirits are being added to the tasting line up in 2016.

Corks & Chefs continues to offer enhanced experience upgrades alongside its popular seminars and special, guided tastings. Birmingham’s Kathy G is being featured this year. She’s talking about her new book and serving up recipes at special seated seminars in the tasting event’s new Side Room.

We encourage guests to keep moving between Corks & Chefs and finding art in the park. Or feel free to lounge on the patio and watch the festival activity go by while enjoying a tasty dish or glass of wine.

There is no better time to be a foodie in the South. With the explosion of great restaurants on the scene, Birmingham has been garnering national attention for its food, positioning itself as a hot food city. Corks & Chefs looks forward to spotlighting the many tastes of Birmingham this Spring in downtown’s Linn Park.
