Join us in the parking lot of Opera Birmingham (3601 Sixth Avenue South) for a happy hour concert, as we continue our outdoor Opera Shots concert series.
Opera Shots is our annual series of casual pop-up concerts throughout the community, held in unexpected places and designed to break down the stereotypes of opera. Opera Shots concerts feature members of the Opera Birmingham Chorus and surprise guest artists presenting an open-mic-style concert of the greatest hits of opera and musical theatre.

This September 25th Opera Shots will feature guest artists, Savannah Bracewell, Grayson Johns, Christina Ledbetter, Anna Medley, Blake Mitchell, Joseph Robinson, Emily Scott, and Heather Thaxton, accompanied by Nick Robertson on piano. Selections will include “On the Steps of the Palace” and “It Takes Two” from Into the Woods, “Lonely House” from Street Scene, “Caro Nome” from Rigoletto, “Johanna” and “Green Finch and Linnet Bird” from Sweeney Todd, “Anyone Can Whistle” from Anyone Can Whistle, “Not Getting Married Today” from Company, and “This is the Moment” from Jekyll and Hyde.
