XC/Cross Country racing is form of mountain biking that focuses more on distance and endurance over technical challenges of negotiating difficult terrain or complex, obstacle-ridden downhills.
Enduro in its most basic definition, is a type of mountain bike racing where the downhills are timed, and the uphills are mandatory but not timed. Riders are timed in stages that are primarily downhill, with neutral “transfer” stages in between. The transfer stages must be completed within a time-limit, but are not part of the accumulated time.
Cost XC Race: Online registration only ($50) ends Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 11:59pm CST. USA Cycling Annual members will receive a $5 discount when registering online and the day of the race. Pro Open Cat ($60 Online). Kids races are $15 for Big Acorn 9-11/ Boys and Girls, Acorn Race 6-8 Boys/Girls. The Scoot Race 3-5 is free.
Cost Enduro Race: Regular online registration from September 4 through October 1, 2020 (11:59pm CST) is $85.
Open pro is +$10 for each time period. $5 off for all annual USA Cycling license holders.
