PEACE Talk is a monthly talk given by renowned speakers on the topics of social justice, radical inclusion and peace. The World’s Most Enlightening Region, a documentary by Dr. N.S. Xavier. In a world of conflicts and extremism often connected with religion and culture, this documentary is about a great enlightening exception. This film focuses on a small region in Kerala, India, with a history of ongoing harmony of Hinduism, Christianity, and Judaism from the first century A.D. and Islam from the 7th century. Each of these religions also has shown peaceful resolution of more or less extremist tendencies within itself. The lessons from this unique example can promote peace and happiness at various levels from individual to global. 

Dr. Xavier, a psychiatrist practicing in the U.S. for 36 plus years and author endorsed by experts in the religious and mental health fields and two Nobel Peace Laureates, presents the historical and recent evidences of the harmony. He shows this beautiful region, its many enchanting and meaningful festivals, and several good influences like the great effects of mystics on the people. Xavier digs deep into the communities there in search of the method in the madness and goodness of religion and culture. He provides his findings and insights, including the crucial role of conscience in promoting love, goodness and happiness.
