The BIRMINGHAM AFRICAN AMERICAN GENEALOGY GROUP is a membership-based organization devoted to the study of genealogical family research. Each month BAAGG presents different topics related to genealogy work and researching personal family histories.
Every year BAAGG hosts the annual BLACK HERITAGE FAIR celebrating Black achievement and Black ancestry. The featured event will host a panel discussion on the fair’s theme: THE BLACK FAMILY: REPRESENTATION, IDENTITY, AND DIVERSITY during this time of the Corona Virus Pandemic. Featured panelists will be:

We will also have featured speaker, Sharon Gillins, noted genealogist and researcher, who will speak on DEVELOPING ANCESTOR PROFILES. Along with these 2 events, BAAGG members will present videos of their research and family lines.
