The Beach Shaggers of Birmingham is a non-profit social shag club.  Our club promotes the Shag Dance and the bringing together people of like minds and interest with the goal to preserve the Carolina Shag Dance and shag music.  Our shag club was started in 1992 and is a member of theAssociation of Carolina Shag Clubs,an organization of over 100+ shag clubs stretching from Tampa to Boston, but mainly in the Carolina’s. 

This is our May Monthly party and will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Family Life Center.  Dinner is served from 7:00-7:30 with dancing taking place from 7:30 -10:30.  This will be a celebration for all the Mother’s!  Please come and join us and learn the Carolina Shag!
