The opening reception for the “B-Side” Gallery Exhibit.will be Friday, June 24, 2016 from 6-8pm. 

This exhibit will be composed of artists’ visual music-themed interpretations, covering all genres from country to rock and jazz. Tony Brock, B Side founder and organizer, asked each artist to produce art of their choice and style, interpreting songs, designing faux album covers, painting portraits of musicians or anything music-related. The title of the exhibit originated with the B Side, or flip side, of vinyl albums and 45s. At times this was an undiscovered gem, with little airplay but a good alternative to the more mainstream. The show provides an art alternative in the visual sense.  Artists:  Tony Brock, Bruce Andrews, Nelson Grice and Jeff Bertrand. 

June 24, 2016 at the Shelby County Arts Council from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
