The subject matter in this B Side exhibit will be composed of artists’ visual music-themed interpretations, covering all genres from country to rock and jazz. Tony Brock, B Side Art Show originator and organizer, asked each artist to produce at least two pieces of art of their choice and style, interpreting songs, designing faux album covers, painting portraits of musicians or anything music-related. The title of the exhibit originated with the B Side, or flip side of vinyl albums and 45s. At times the B Side was an undiscovered gem, with little airplay but a good alternative to the more mainstream. The B Side art show provides an art alternative in the visual sense.

Featured Artists:  Tony Brock, Artist from Tuscaloosa, AL.; Jeff Bertrand, Nashville, TN; Bruce Andrews and Nelson Grice (Nationally recognized Sculptor and teacher) both of Birmingham, AL. 

This exhibit is an extension of the B-Side Art Show in Tuscaloosa, AL at the Dinah Washington Cultural Art Center
