National Building Museum's Evicted Exhibit

National Building Museum's Evicted Exhibit

Presented by Alabama Center for Architecture at Birmingham Public Library Central Branch

Inspired by Matthew Desmond’s Pullitzer Prize winning book Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City, the National Building Museum’s Evicted exhibit brings visitors into the world of low-income renter eviction. The exhibit challenges visitors to face the enormity of one of 21st-century America’s most devastating problems, while providing context for the crisis and a call to action. The exhibit will be housed at the Birmingham Public Library Central Location from 10/21/2021-12/30/2021.
