Inspired by Matthew Desmond’s Pullitzer Prize winning book Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City, the National Building Museum’s Evicted exhibit brings visitors into the world of low-income renter eviction. The exhibit challenges visitors to face the enormity of one of 21st-century America’s most devastating problems, while providing context for the crisis and a call to action. The exhibit will be housed at the Birmingham Public Library Central Location from 10/21/2021-12/30/2021.
