The Crucible Project

The Crucible Project

Presented by University of Montevallo College of Fine Arts at Center for the Arts, University of Montevallo

Through deft manipulation, fire, earth, air, and water are made as poetic as they are palpable. The central tool is the crucible; one of history’s most indelible and pervasive icons for actual and symbolic transformation. This group exhibition curated by UM’s own Dr. Scott Meyer presents a creative dialogue between four artists: Kenneth Baskin, Richard Hirsch, Scott Meyer, and Michael Rogers.

Show will be displayed in the Poole Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts.
