At this virtual meet-up, Birmingham and Alabama leaders will be on hand to share happenings in the League of Women Voters – local, state and national. If you’ve considered joining the League or are just curious about our nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, please come to this meet-up. Membership is open to anyone age 16 or over, but this is NOT a hard-sell membership drive! We just want to introduce League volunteer opportunities that might interest members and the public and answer questions. (Hint: A few of our top priority projects are educating and advocating for fair redistricting maps at federal, state, and local levels, our online election voter guide VOTE411, voter registration, and voting rights restoration.)
