The Alabama Veterans Memorial Park in partnership with Boy Scouts from the Greater Alabama Council will honor veterans on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at the Alabama Veterans Memorial Park.

1:00PM – 3:30PM Blue Star Salute Foundation’s Exhibit, “Faces of the Price of Freedom” in parking lot
1:00PM – 2:00PM Bob Moore Band performing patriotic music near the Memorial Plaza
2:00PM – 3:30PM StepStone Dedication Ceremony in the American Flag Plaza
Boy Scout Color Guard; Anthem by Stephanie Whatley-Farmer; Echo Taps by Bugles Across America; StepStone dedications by family and friends of honorees
Handicap parking near park entrance; parking attendants will direct traffic to shuttle parking; golf carts available for those needing assistance down the trail; restrooms in Park office building; trail is wheelchair accessible; seating provided in Plaza; all activities are outside; complimentary waters will be available; this event has no admission fee.
