Limestone Park Bioblitz

Limestone Park Bioblitz

Presented by Birmingham Audubon at Limestone Park

Please join us on Saturday, May 28, from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, as we host the first ever bioblitz at our Urban Bird Habitat sites, Limestone Park, in Alabaster. Area scientists and naturalists will be sampling the biodiversity of the park to help us better appreciate just how special Limestone is! With its range of habitats, we are sure to document a large number of species. Experts will be sampling the park’s trees, fishes, reptiles, birds, wildflowers, amphibians, and invertebrates. No expertise is needed, and this event will be a great chance to enhance your naturalist skills. We will have refreshments available, so please RSVP our Program Director, Andy Coleman, at andycoleman@birminghamaudubon.org if you are planning to participate.
